An Exercise Physiologist (EP) is an allied health professional that specialises in clinical exercise prescription for management of chronic disease and injury. EP’s can work in hospitals and outpatient rehab, medical clinics like Springs or run their own private practice.
The assessment will take 30-60 minutes. We will chat about your condition/injury/main concern, history and background, any current restrictions or limitations and your goals or things you want to improve (e.g. fitness, strength, balance etc.). I will also choose some quick physical tests relevant to you, your goals and will help form the basis of your exercise program. I will provide the program after the assessment and will show you how to do all the exercises.
