Dr Hugh Gillies is a General Practitioner and Rural Generalist, currently training with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM). He provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages and specialises in musculoskeletal health and injury, procedural medicine, preventative health and chronic disease management.

Dr Gillies graduated from Deakin Medical School in 2014 and has since primarily been based throughout Western Victoria working in Orthopaedics and more recently General Practice. He continues to work in both disciplines as a GP at Springs Medical in Daylesford and as an orthopaedic Surgical Assistant in Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo and Melbourne.

Outside his professional life, Hugh enjoys exploring regional Australia with his family, running, swimming and fixing one of an immeasurable number of holes in his beautiful but very old home.
