Our team at SM will continue to ask some routine questions in relation to your recent travel (as well as any current cold or flu symptoms) as part of our screening process to help keep everyone safe.

Your response to these questions will help us determine whether a face to face or telehealth consultation is the most appropriate for you.

To ensure the safety of our community, Springs Medical is implementing preventative measures including our phone consultation model to support patients experiencing symptoms of cold and flu.

Rather than attending our Clinics, our reception will make a phone appointment for you. During the phone consultation, your GP will discuss your symptoms, ask questions about your recent travel history and provide a plan for your treatment. Medical certificates can be prepared and left for collection – your GP can discuss this further with you.

If your GP feels you should be tested for coronavirus, they may advise you to attend Ballarat Base Hospital for testing.
Please DO NOT ATTEND Springs Medical Clinics if you are experiencing symptoms of the cold and flu.
