Exercise & Wellness Programs

At Springs Medical we offer a variety of exercise and wellness programs designed and delivered by our team of Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Wellness Nurses. These programs aim to help you use exercise and wellness strategies to promote health and reduce risk of disease. Our exercise groups can help manage a variety of conditions and reduce the risk of their progression; plus you can enjoy the benefits of exercising with others.

If you would like support to start exercising in a safe and supportive environment please discuss our options with your GP and book into one of our programs (GP referral may be required for some programs). We currently offer:

‘Put a Spring in your Step (SIS)’ is an 8 week wellness program for people living with chronic and complex conditions.

Group Fitness classes run twice a week and are for people looking to build strength and cardio fitness in a group environment.

The Springs Medical Falls and Balance Clinic has been created to help patients that for a variety of different reasons, are at risk of falling or lack confidence in their balance. The program is designed and delivered by Accredited Exercise Physiologist Jake Dwyer and aims to reduce participants risk and rate of falls and hospitalisation, and to improve confidence and quality of life by maintaining independence and mobility.

For a personalised exercise program that you can complete independently you may consider seeing our Exercise Physiologist for a one on one consultation.

Physical activity is essential for physical and mental health. Speak to your GP about which option is best for you.

All participants of group exercise will need to provide proof of Covid-19 vaccination prior to confirmation of their first class. We ask all participants to use our QR code or sign in sheet upon arrival.
