Central Highlands Rural Health’s drop-in counselling service in Daylesford will remain open over the weekend to continue providing free mental health support for anyone impacted by the recent accident.
The drop-in centre will be open on Saturday from 9am to 5pm and on Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
Counsellors will be available at 79a Raglan Street to help anyone directly or indirectly affected by the events including members of the Daylesford community and visitors to the town.
For anyone unable to access the drop-in centre, other free counselling services are available. Please contact one of the following organisations, where appropriate:

Local health services have come together to launch a Daylesford community drop-in centre that will be operational from today - Tuesday, November 6.
It will be operated at 79a Raglan Street by the Hepburn Shire Council, Council of Churches and Central Highland Rural Health staff to provide initial mental health first aid and screen for referral to primary care level counselling.
Springs Medical, Uniting Vic Tas, Ballarat Community Health and Grampians Health (Ballarat Mental Health) are all also committed to supporting us.
If you have been impacted by the recent tragedy, drop in for an informal chat with counsellors from Central Highlands Rural Health any time between 9am and 5pm every day until Friday 10 November (inclusive, and including the Melbourne Cup public holiday).
