Gerard has been a General Practitioner in Daylesford for over 20 years and is one of the Directors of Springs Medical. Like most rural GPs he has a broad range of skills and interests and considers it a privilege to be involved in the lives of patients. His particular interests are in chronic disease management, mental health and caring for patients with HIV.
Dr Ingham is a licensed methadone and buprenorphine prescriber.
Teaching forms a large part of Dr Ingham’s professional life. He teaches medical students and GP registrars within Springs Medical. Dr Ingham also works away from Springs Medical as a research academic and has been appointed to a number of government committees. Consequently, he has reduced his workdays at Springs Medical to two days a week.
